Northamptonshire's Police and crime commissioner steps down from council seat
Northamptonshire's police and crime commissioner has quit his role as a councillor.
Following his election earlier this year to the commissioner’s job, Stephen Mold has decided to resign as a councillor for the Old Stratford ward on South Northamptonshire Council.
Mr Mold was elected as a Conservative councillor in May 2015.

Hide AdA notice of vacancy for the ward seat was published by South Northamptonshire Council on Monday. If two local government electors request that the vacancy be filled by an election, a date will be fixed by the Returning Officer on which the election will be held.
