Mr Mold was elected as a Conservative councillor in May 2015.

A notice of vacancy for the ward seat was published by South Northamptonshire Council on Monday. If two local government electors request that the vacancy be filled by an election, a date will be fixed by the Returning Officer on which the election will be held.
