Northamptonshire rugby players welcome state-of-the-art kitchen to help cook up bacon for a post-match treat.
Long Buckby Rugby Club is celebrating the opening of their new club kitchen, which was donated by a B&Q following a fire that destroyed the club’s cookhouse in May.
After a recent refurbishment, B&Q Northampton recently donated kitchen facilities to the club meaning it was smiles all round for the club, which was initially founded in 1875.
Rugby coach, Seb Tubb said; “We’re extremely grateful to the Northampton B&Q store for their donation.
“Our kitchen is such an important part of club life and the players and supporters are delighted to have their bacon butty station back.”
