Northamptonshire Sport will be working with leisure providers and sports clubs from the areas to offer a number of taster sessions in a variety of activities, including traditional sports like archery and bowls.

On offer will be team games of walking sports such as football and netball which are at a slightly slower pace than the running version, while still providing physical benefits.

There will also be the opportunity for attendees to try OTAGO exercise - training which is designed to increase balance, coordination and muscle strength as a way of preventing falls.
