A Northampton community radio station will be reborn under a different name later this month.
106.9 NNBC will become NLive on September 30 and the transition will be marked with a live broadcast from Market Square from 11am to 4pm alongside a street circus hosted by BID, with hourly performances and walkabout entertainers.
Prizes are up for grabs on the day and the evening will see live music performance at The Lab on Charles Street, from 6pm to 11pm.
Shelly Hensley-Stevenson, the station's new manager, said: "This is community radio 2.0 – the upgrade!
"We have a full year of event and family fun in the works and are looking forward to getting out into the community to meet everyone and be a real part of the town.’’
NLive said they want to be the glue that binds and connects all of Northampton's diverse community and businesses.
