Wootton Primary School took part in a balloon launch to raise awareness among young people about mental health stigma.
Politicians also took part at their places of work, including Northampton North MP Michael Ellis at the Houses of Parliament.
Emma Grinham, aged 18, chair of the Mental Health Stigma Programme group, who planned the day, said: “We all have mental health and mental health needs. It’s just that some of us can meet our own needs and others need help or support and that’s okay.
“Mental health is everyone’s business and it’s our business to change people’s views and reduce mental health stigma,” she added.
