Northampton massage parlour slammed after advertising half naked '˜schoolgirl' on Twitter

Massage Northampton in Kettering Road has been trading since 2008, claiming to offer an “amazing sensual massage to clients”.

It’s website advertises a gallery of “girls” to chose from, most of whom are pictured in underwear with private body parts exposed.

Though it is general knowledge the business offers punters more than a simple massage, a recent tweet has enraged Chronicle & Echo readers, after it appeared to offer the services of a “schoolgirl.”

The tweet read: “Make a booking with a #pert #British #schoolgirl” and featured a picture of a woman with exposed breasts wearing a school uniform.

Another tweet posted this week advertised the services of “neighbour TEENAGE daughter”.

Massage Northampton says the woman pictured in the first tweet was 21 and says it asks for identification off all of its masseuses.

But Councillor Danielle Stone (Lab, Castle) said the tweets are deeply offensive and exploitative.

She said: “I definitely think police and Trading Standards need to look at this, especially if this is encouraging the sexual exploitation of young women.”

Owner of the premises Elaine Horsley, who has run the business for the whole eight years, said the tweets were made without her permission as she was on holiday at the time.

She said: “The thing is we have had clients that have asked, do you do uniforms? We wouldn’t usually do them.

“But I was away this week and someone has put those tweets out. I need to stamp that out. It won’t happen again.”

Ms Horsley said the business is regularly checked by police and has never been shut down. All its “masseuses” effectively rent space at the parlour and are paid in their earnings.

But Ms Horsley made no bones about the fact sexual activity can take place there, as it operates above the law through a legal loophole.

“When a client comes in they are they are there to have a massage. What the girls do in the room is up to them,” she said. “Everybody knows that the girls do offer more.”

And she added: “The reason we haven’t been shut down is because it is perfectly legal.”

But Councillor Stone said the owner has to accept responsibility for the tweets.

“It is her business, if she hasn’t got a management strategy in place that’s down to her,” she added.
