Northampton High School's caring gifts for sick children

Caring nursery and reception pupils from a Northampton School have paid for and help choose toys and games to cheer up young patients in hospital.

Proceeds from a sponsored obstacle race by three, four and five-year-olds at Northampton High took were used to buy gifts for Northampton General Hospital.

Raising £675 for the Paddington Ward, staff went on a special shopping trip to buy goodies chosen by hospital staff.

The pupils haul included toys, games, DVDs and craft materials to help to help make the young patient’s time in hospital a more enjoyable.
