Northampton car park to close for a day during surveying work

The routine surveying is part of the ongoing work in respect of the area being subject to development as part of the town’s continuing growth.

A ground radar scan will be run in the area by Ampthill Geophysical Consulting. This is a very common and adaptable survey method which can be used in many site situations.

Officers from Northampton Borough Council’s parking team will be placing notices on the entrance informing customers and visitors of the closure. Contractors will be on site for most of the day and will remove the closure once they have completed their works.
