Three days of music concerts in Northampton were attended by an aggregrate audience of 15,000 people, according to official figures.
Sold-out Jessie J was heard by the most fans at Delapre Park at the weekend, with her Saturday night show attracting 8,000 paying fans.
McBusted, on Friday and Alfie Boe on Sunday garnered an additional 7,000 people between them.
Councillor Brandon Eldred, cabinet member for community engagement, hailed the success of the festival, whose initial three-year run ends this year.
But he said no firm decision had been made about Alive at Delapre’s future.
Councillor Eldred said: “The Jessie J concert sold out and unfortunately we did have to turn people away trying to get tickets on the night but the 8,000 people who had managed to buy tickets had a great night.
“It was wonderful to see Jessie J wearing a T-shirt with Northampton printed on the front – firmly putting Northampton on the map.
“We committed to holding the concerts for three years and we will now review the success of the concerts over the three years as a whole and consider whether Alive at Delapre will return.”
