Northampton-based Ricoh UK has made the shortlist of Business in the Community’s annual Responsible Business Awards in recognition of its outstanding contributions to the community.
The global IT firm impressed judges with its range of initiatives and was shortlisted in the Jaguar Land Rover Inspiring Young Talent Award and the Sustainable Products and Services Award.
The accolades are the UK’s longest running and most robust responsible business awards programme.
They aim to celebrate companies which take action to address social and environmental issues and transform their communities.
Liz Needleman, from Business in the Community, said: “The shortlist highlights Ricoh for playing its part in creating a fairer society and a more sustainable future.
“It’s never been more important for businesses to demonstrate the tremendous economic value, environmental and social impact they make across communities.”
Following the release of the shortlist, Ricoh may be recognised at the East Midlands Responsible Business Gala Dinner at Athena, Leicester on June 25.
The overall winners will then be announced in London at Business in the Community’s Responsible Business Annual Gala Dinner in July this year.
