No more bets as Rothwell bookies set to close
Punters will no longer be able to place bets at a bookmakers in Rothwell after it was confirmed that the branch is closing.
Betfred bosses have decided to close the branch in Bridge Street, Rothwell, due to a lack of demand.
A customer contacted the Northants Telegraph after hearing the news, which has since been confirmed by a spokesman for the betting chain.
The spokesman for Betfred said: “Unfortunately it is closing through lack of demand.
“We are hoping to redeploy the staff.”
It is thought that the branch will close this weekend.
