New Starbucks in Northampton town centre set to open in November

A new branch of Starbucks in Northampton town centre is set to open next month, it has been announced.

The 122-seater coffee house is set to open in the Market Square building previously occupied by the That’s Entertainment store, which closed earlier this month.

The franchisee for the scheme is Nadim Choudary, son of former Conservative borough Councillor Iftikhar Choudary and brother of Labour councillor Nazir.

Iftikhar Choudary said the building would be fitted out in the next few week’s and the coffee house is expected to open in the third week of November.

The Choudary family are also planning to open a branch of Starbucks in Wellingborough.

Speaking to the Chron in August, Nadim said that the Market Square Starbucks could be the first of 25 the family hope to opening the county over the next five years.
