The launderette, in Oulton Rise, Parklands welcomed the mayor of Northampton councillor Tony Ansell for a ribbon cutting ceremony on Sunday (September 2) to declare the store open.
An afternoon of good, old fashioned fun was had by all, with live 50’s music from The Candy Girls, tasty treats while exploring the world of bubbles.
The mayor councillor Tony Ansell said: “It’s a pleasure to help open Bubbles Laundromat’s new store which offers a refreshing cheerful and vibrant environment. This community-spirited business is a great addition to the towns services.”
The retro store is fitted out with 'state of the art', economical machines and caters to a wide range of laundry services from self and full-service washing and drying to duvet cleaning and sports kit washes.
Amanda Woodgate, manager of the Northampton store said: “We are thrilled to have opened our third Bubbles store and can’t wait to make even more people feel bright and sunny on those dreary wash days.”
