New owner breathes life into Northampton tapas restaurant after mysterious closure this year
Tres Angelos - formerly Sol Y Luna - opened its doors to customers on Kingsley Park Terrace last week following a renovation.
It comes after Sol Y Luna closed down shortly before Mother's Day weekend earlier this year and cancelling many customers' reservations.

He said: "I wanted to buy the restaurant because it always looked busy. Then when it closed, so many people asked me if I knew why because I was a neighbour.
"For 15 years, I have worked in restaurants in Italy, Greece, London, even the Frankie & Bennys in Sixfields. When you work for a big company, you are just a number. I wanted to own my own business.
"I know how to run a business. The restaurant needed a new captain. It's very simple - give the customer what they want. Good service, good food, good chef."

Aleksander, who also owns co-owns the nearby Delicious Greek restaurant on Kingsley Park Terrace, said: "I've had a lot of people come and thank me for opening up the restaurant again. They say it was 'their spot'.
"I just hope I can make it as busy as before. I'm very excited to get started."
