Motorist dragged from car and attacked in Northamptonshire

A driver was pulled out of his car and attacked in a Northamptonshire road.

The victim, aged 43, was driving a silver Seat Alhambra when he had to stop to allow the driver of another car to get out of his dark-coloured Ford.

After stopping, the attacker then got out of his car and approached the victim, opening his car door before dragging him out of the vehicle and assaulting him.

After the attack, which happened in Ericsson Close, Daventry, on Tuesday February 25, the attacker then left the scene.

The victim was examined by paramedics but did not require hospital treatment.

The attacker was a white man, aged about 50 with short brown hair and a large build.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have information regarding it.
