Motorcyclist who died in collision on main Northamptonshire road 'will be dearly missed' say family

Tributes have been paid to the motorcyclist who died in a two-vehicle collision on the A5 at the weekend.

Steven Atkins, 51, from Coventry was named by Northamptonshire Police as the motorcyclist who sadly died on the A5 on Sunday.

In a statement, Steven's family said: “Steven was a skilled engineer and a lifetime motorcyclist. He will be dearly missed by his partner, all his family and his many friends and colleagues.”

Shirley McClements, 60, from Nether Heyford, also died in the collision, which happened outside Jacks Hill Café just north of the A43 Towcester roundabout at about 12.30pm.
