Motorcyclist, 74, airlifted to hospital after collision with lorry in Northamptonshire

A 74-year-old motorcyclist has been seriously injured after he was involve din a collision with a lorry on a Northamptonshire road.

The man from Peterborough was riding his red Aprilia RST 1000 motorbike when it was involved in a collision with a DAF lorry in Barnwell Road, Oundle yesterday (Tuesday). Both vehicles were travelling in the same direction.

The motorcyclist was taken by air ambulance to University Hospital Coventry with serious injuries.
