Military fitness club charity fundraisers

Members of a boot-camp style keep-fit group took to the great outdoors and raised pounds as they shed them.

Northampton’s British Military Fitness club held a free session in the town’s Abington Park to celebrate National Outdoor Fitness Day.

BMF members and trialists were put through their paces by instructors as and also raised money for The Royal British Legion, a charity that provides help and welfare to the serving and ex-serving British Armed Forces community and their families.

Now in its second year, National Outdoor Fitness Day is designed to increase awareness of the various benefits of outdoor exercise and to encourage people of all ages to get off the sofa and get active in the great outdoors.
