MIDWEEK MAGS COURT: Who’s been sentenced at Northampton Magistrates’ Court

The following people were sentenced at Northampton Magistrates’ Court:

APRIL 23:

Ivars Lusens, aged 37, of Sunderland Street, Northampton, drink-driving with a breath test reading of 140mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath; jailed for 16 weeks suspended for 12 months, community order to carry out 240 hours of unpaid work, surcharge £115, costs £85, banned from driving for 32 months.

Kirsty Young, aged 36, of Roe Road, Northampton, drink-driving with 81mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath; fined £120, surcharge £30, banned from driving for 18 months.

James Carlton, aged 22, of Horsemoor Square, Northampton, driving while banned; fined £135, surcharge £30, costs £420, banned from driving for six months. Driving not in accordance with a licence; fined £135. No insurance; fined £45.

James Horsman, aged 32, of Rosebery Avenue, Northampton, had a weapon in a public place, used threatening or unlawful violence towards other people; pleaded guilty, sent to Northampton Crown Court for sentence.

Matthew Johnson, aged 39, of Harborough Road, Northampton, possession of cannabis; community order made to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work, surcharge £85 and costs £85.

Christopher Cuppleditch, aged 36, of no fixed abode, breach of a court order; community order to carry out 50 hours of unpaid work, surcharge £85, costs £85.

Tara Montgomery, aged 19, of no fixed abode, stole groceries worth £4.52 belonging to Lidl; jailed for one week consecutive. Failed to surrender to custody; jailed for two weeks. Assault; jailed for six weeks consecutive, compensation £150. Assaulted a police officer; jailed for two weeks consecutive, compensation £50. Another assault; jailed for six weeks consecutive, compensation £150. Used threatening or abusive words or behaviour; no separate penalty. Damaged a police cell; jailed for two weeks, compensation £84. Failed to surrender to custody; jailed for two weeks concurrent. Damaged a window; jailed for two weeks consecutive, compensation £25. Assaulted a police officer; jailed for six weeks consecutive, compensation £50.

Bodac Radu, aged 27, of Lutterworth Road, Northampton, possession of a blade in a public place; community order made to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work, surcharge £85, costs £85. Failed to surrender to custody; community order made to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work.

Elliott Salter, aged 22, of no fixed abode, failed to surrender to custody; jailed for two weeks. Damaged a radiator; jailed for four weeks concurrent. Przemyslaw Jedlinksi, aged 41, of Baker Street, Northampton, harassment; community order made, fined £350, surcharge £85, costs £85. Breach of a court order; community order made.

Fashia Mavinga, aged 27, of Narrowboat Lane, Northampton, stole cheese worth £8 from Tesco Express; conditional discharge for 12 months, surcharge £20. Failed to surrender to custody; conditional discharge for 12 months.

Joe Webber, aged 32, of Euston Road, Northampton, stole a sat nav worth £40; conditional discharge for 12 months, compensation £40.

Jamie Mayhew, aged 29, of South Paddock Court, Northampton, stole Red Bull and sweets worth £5.49 belonging to Heron Foods; fined £50, surcharge £30 and costs £85. Caused harassment, alarm or distress; fined £50.

Tadas Puteikis, aged 29, of Alcombe Road, Northampton, drink-driving with a breath test reading of 91mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath; community order made to carry out 250 hours of unpaid work, surcharge £85, costs £720, banned from driving for five years. Ephraim Kumbani, aged 54, of Timken Way South, Northampton, drink-driving with a breath test reading of 55mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath; fined £85, surcharge £30 and costs £850, banned from driving for 12 months. Assaulted a police officer; fined £126, compensation £50.
