Man wanted after Wellingborough shop worker threatened with knife

CCTV images have been released that show a man wanted in connection with a vicious robbery in Wellingborough.

Police officers want to trace the man in connection with the incident that happened at the Co-op store on Farm Road, Wellingborough.

An offender made off with cash after pointing a knife at a staff member and forcing her to empty a till.

At around 10.20pm on Monday, 15 August, the offender approached the staff member, who was standing outside the shop.

He pulled out a knife, pointed it towards her and instructed her to go into the store and empty the till.

The offender then made off with the cash and some scratch cards in a bag, in the direction of Bacon Road, Wellingborough.

Detectives are looking to trace the man pictured in the images wearing a red, hooded top.
