Man taken to hospital after three-vehicle crash on A508 in Northamptonshire

Three vehicles were involved in a crash on a busy road heading towards Northampton.

Emergency services were called to the A508 in Roade at around 5.05pm on Friday evening following a collision between three cars.

Two men were injured in the collision, although the injuries were not believed to be serious according to Northamptonshire Police.

One of the men who had a neck injury was taken to Northampton General Hospital.

The road was closed for several hours while the cars, which were badly damaged, were recovered.

There was also a diesel spillage on the road.

The crash caused long delays in the area, with queues back to Stoke Bruerne.
