Man released on bail after an assault and disturbance outside McDonald’s in Northampton

A man has been released on bail following an assault in which a man was punched to the floor in Northampton.

Police are appealing for any witnesses following the disturbance outside McDonald’s in The Drapery in the town centre at about 3.45am on Sunday, April 12.

They have said that a group of men were involved in a disturbance which resulted in one man being punched and knocked to the floor.

One man was arrested in connection with the assault and has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Witnesses, or anyone with information, is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101, or they can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
