Man punched in the face outside fast-food restaurant in Corby

A man was assaulted outside McDonalds in Phoenix Parkway, Corby, early on Saturday (November 26).

The 25-year-old victim was standing outside the Drive Thru at some point between 4am and 5.20am, when he was approached by another man who punched him in the face.

It is believed the offender approached the victim after words were exchanged between the victim and the offender’s girlfriend inside the restaurant.

The offender was a white man, in his early 20s and of slim build.

He was about 6ft with short dark brown hair and wore a white tee-shirt which had blue flecks along the arms and shoulders.

A police spokesman said: “Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.”
