A 23-year-old man was left unconscious following an alleged assault in a Corby pub car park.

The incident happened outside the New Inn in Lloyds Road sometime between 1.30am and 1.45am on Sunday, December 27.

The man, who is believed to have been assaulted, was left with a swollen nose, a cut to his right eyebrow and swelling around his eye.

Officers investigating the incident would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time, particularly one person who spoke to the man after he had been injured.
