Man attempts to rob Corby bookies

A man threatened staff but failed to make off with any money in an attempted robbery at a Corby bookmakers.

At about 8.50pm on Thursday (August 18), a man entered the Coral store in Studfall Avenue and approached the counter and threatened staff, demanding money.

Staff were able to call the police and the man left empty handed.

The suspect is described as white, about 5ft 5in and slim. He was wearing black clothing.

Witnesses, or anyone with information, are asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
