Man allegedly took money from cash machine after woman forgot to collect it

A man allegedly took money out of a cash machine in Northampton that had been withdrawn by a women who had forgotten to collect it.

Police are appealing for information after a theft at a cash machine in Northampton on Saturday, 5 March. Officers would like to speak to the man pictured, or anyone who may recognise him.

The alleged theft took place at the ATM outside Tesco, Weston Favell Shopping Centre, on Saturday, March 5,

at about 12.20pm.

A woman had used the cash machine and walked away from it, without collecting the money she had withdrawn. A man in the queue to use the machine then walked towards it and walked away again quickly, putting something into his wallet.

Officers would like to speak to the man pictured, or anyone who may recognise him.
