A driver was lucky to escape serious injury after his vehicle was involved in a collision with a lorry on the A43 in Northamptonshire.
A Scania lorry was involved in a collision with a silver Vauxhall Insignia at about 6.30pm on Wednesday night.
The road was shut for a short time to allow emergency services to recover both vehicles.
A Northants Police officer who attended the scene tweeted: “RTC on the A43 at Silverstone last night. Fortunately no serious injuries to anyone involved.”
A police spokesman said the car driver suffered only minor injuries and was not taken to hospital.
