But plans have been submitted to Northampton borough Council to change the shop frontage for the former Blacks outdoor retail outlet on Drapery - into a Kaspa’s.
A description of Kaspa’s on its website states: “Our tasty desserts include gelatos, waffles, crepes, milkshakes, smoothies and the ever popular sundaes. A large selection of toppings of fresh fruits, creams, chocolates and luxury syrups make for a mouth-watering combination.
“Apart from the stunning desserts, our relaxing and unwinding interior is another reason why people travel far and wide to visit our parlours. It is the perfect place to relax, socialise and soak in the fun vibes. A Kaspa’s experience truly is a unique experience that is difficult to replicate elsewhere.”

The building is currently boarded up, but ut traded as a Blacks camping store until 2012.
It became a temporary shoe shop shortly afterwards, which only lasted a few months.
A decision on the plan is due in the coming weeks.
