Lindsay Lohan '˜happy to turn on Kettering's Christmas lights'
Mr Hollobone demanded in the House of Commons that she visit the town to “redeem her political reputation” after a Brexit outburst on Twitter.
The American star, who supported the Remain campaign, took to the social media site to slam the town after it overwhelmingly voted for Brexit.

Hide AdThe tweet, which was later deleted, read: “#REMAIN Sorry, but #KETTERING where are you & why is this woman @BBCNews speaking on people rather than TELLING us what happens if the UK LEAVES?”
But Mr Hollobone told the House of Commons she was incorrect as “everyone knows where Kettering is”.
After the invite, Miss Lohan then tweeted: “@MPChrisGrayling and #philiphollobone Direct message me about your offer. Would be happy to light the Christmas tree in #Kettering”
Conservative MP Mr Hollobone, a prominent and long-standing Leave campaigner, said he was proud of the role the town played in achieving a Brexit after 61 per cent voted to leave last week.
