Cobblers fans are being encouraged to join the party tomorrow for Northampton Town’s first home game since being rescued from going into administration.
The club takes on bottom-of-the-table Yeovil at Sixfields Stadium and ticket sales have already been very strong.
A spokesman for Cobblers said: “We have been delighted with the level of support and ticket sales in the last couple of days.
“At the moment there is capacity in both the west and north stands but plans are in place should those stands sell out for us to split the south stand in two, offering extra capacity for home supporters.
“We would ask supporters to arrive early as a big crowd and party atmosphere is expected.
“We think it will be a terrific atmosphere, there has definitely been a buzz around the club in the last 24 hours and spirts are high among the supporters who have been coming in to pick up their tickets.
“We hope the feelgood factor continues as there is a chance that we could top the table after Saturday’s matches.”
