The gardens at Kelmarsh Hall in Northamptonshire will be open as part of the National Gardens Scheme on Wednesday, May 20, helping to raise money for charities including Macmillan Cancer Support.
The gardens and tea room will be open from 11am to 5pm and all the proceeds from the garden admission fee will be donated to charity.
Last year, the National Gardens Scheme raised £2.5m for charities including Marie Curie Cancer Care, Parkinson’s UK and Hospice UK.
Kelmarsh Hall is located just off Junction 2 of the A14, close to Market Harborough on the Northamptonshire/Leicestershire border.
The Grade Two star listed gardens include a double border, a sunken garden and a historic walled kitchen garden. Seasonal highlights at this time of year usually include tulips, alliums and peonies.
Normal admission fees apply on the day
