Jogger attacked by four men on bikes in Corby

The victim was jogging along Sower Leys Road in Corby at about 1am yesterday (Monday, October 31) when four men started chasing him on bicycles.

They caught up with him in the underpass area at the junction of Sower Leys Road and Patrick Road and proceeded to hit him with a crowbar and wooden bats, and tried to steal his rucksack.

The man fought off the offenders and they rode away empty-handed.

He sustained minor injuries as a result.
