Hide AdDirector of Steffans Jewellers Wes Suter said: "I wasn't aware to begin with that a bus had hit the front of the shop - I thought somebody had broken in.
"A year-and-a half ago, I attended an alarm call-out - somebody had driven a car through my other shop in Market Harborough, and I thought it had happened again."
Repair work to fix the front of the store, which is expected to cost thousands of pounds, is now underway.
The bus company has been approached for a comment.
