Investigators looking into cause of huge blaze at Northamptonshire village stables

Fire investigators are looking into the cause of a huge blaze which damaged a house and stable block in a Northamptonshire village on Wednesday night.
Six crews of firefighters from up to ten miles way went to Bliss Lane in Flore following a 999 call at around 8.45pm.

Hide AdThe blaze was put out just after 10pm although some crews remained on the scene until around midnight.
A spokesman for Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue said: "It is believed the first started in a stable in and spread to an adjacent house, causing damage to a door.
"Thankfully no animals were involved and there were no reports of any injuries.
"Crews from The Mounts, Long Buckby, Daventry, Woodford Halse and the water bowser from Towcester attended and the fire was extinguished by crews wearing breathing apparatus using two hose reel jets and one extended hose reel.
