Hunks required: Company looks to Northampton to address 'naked butler shortage'

Brighton-Based Butlers with Bums has launched a "desperate appeal" for attractive young men between the ages of 23 and 40 to join its team, "meet and mingle with guests, play party games and serve drinks and canapes."

The company provides scantily-clad men to a range of events across the UK, as well as offering a range of well-built gents to act as life drawing models.

But, its director Dan Harley said the business is suffering from a shortage in "hunks" and is looking to recruit - including here in Northampton.

He said: "We have a lot of demand for our butlers across the UK for hen dos, birthday parties and corporate events, but the shortage has taken a toll on specific areas.

"We would definitely like to see more gym enthusiasts and fitness fanatics getting involved with butlering."

The uniform is provided, the company states, with all staff required to wear the signature apron, collar, cuffs and bow-tie - but nothing else.

In a recruitment advert for Butlers with Bums the company says it is also looking to take on life-drawing models and performers for its cabaret stage show Adonis.

Applicants for the life drawing posts need to have a "confident personality", be in good shape and must be well groomed.
