Hundreds of bikes and scooters hit Northamptonshire's roads for Chilly Willy Charity ride-out

An annual motorbike ride-out broke its fundraising record this weekend by raising more than £3,500 for the air ambulance service.

Over 350 motorbikes and scooters hit Northamptonshire's roads on Sunday (December 6) for the Chilly Willy 2019 charity ride-out.

The convoy left All Seasons Cafe in Billing Garden Centre for a 48-mile tour of Northamptonshire.
Now in its sixth year, Chilly Willy is held every January to raise money for the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance Service.

This year saw the bikers raise more than 3,500 - bringing theirtotal over the past six years to just under 10,000.
Bikes, scooters and custom trikes of all sizes took part in the ride-out.
Volunteer Heather Burton said: "Huge thanks to Northampton Biker Community for organising the event and making it happen, in particular to Rich Moore and all the marshals en-route."
Heather Burton said: "It was an overwhelming sight to see so many bikers out. Year on year, this event gets bigger and raises even more money for the charity."
