Over 350 motorbikes and scooters hit Northamptonshire's roads on Sunday (December 6) for the Chilly Willy 2019 charity ride-out.
The convoy left All Seasons Cafe in Billing Garden Centre for a 48-mile tour of Northamptonshire. Now in its sixth year, Chilly Willy is held every January to raise money for the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance Service. This year saw the bikers raise more than 3,500 - bringing theirtotal over the past six years to just under 10,000. Bikes, scooters and custom trikes of all sizes took part in the ride-out. Volunteer Heather Burton said: "Huge thanks to Northampton Biker Community for organising the event and making it happen, in particular to Rich Moore and all the marshals en-route." Heather Burton said: "It was an overwhelming sight to see so many bikers out. Year on year, this event gets bigger and raises even more money for the charity." The date is already in the diary for the 7thAnnual Chilly Willy Ride, on January 5, 2020.
