Hay bales set on fire in Northamptonshire arson attack

The arson attack happened in a field off Sandy Lane, Church Brampton at around 7.30pm on Monday, September 12.

Northamptonshire Police is now reminding people of the dangers of this type of crime.

A force spokeswoman, said: “A fire of this nature can quickly get out of control, with very serious risks to nearby people and property, financial loss to the owner and serious consequences for the perpetrators following police action.

“Anyone with information can contact Northamptonshire police on 101. Alternatively, they can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
