Good Neighbours group launches community drop-in centre in Northampton

A new community drop-in centre has been officially opened in Northampton

Brookside Hub is a new venture for Blackthorn Good Neighbours, funded and supported by Growing Together.

The aim is to offer a place for local people to drop in and talk to the community worker Danielle Reeves. Danielle will also be working with local people to set up groups and events which people are interested in .

This summer she is planning some stay and play sessions and a picnic. The Hub is open every Monday and Thursday morning from 10am to noon.

The Hub was officially opened on Thursday July 14 by the Mayor of Northampton Cllr Malpas and he was joined by the pupils from the school council of Luimbertubs School.
