Park runners gave generously when a Northampton charity held a collection drive for cancer patients.

The Lewis Foundation was collecting items ahead of the Sixfields Upton parkrun on Saturday morning.

All the donations will go towards filling up gift bags that the charity hands out to cancer patients in Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes.

The items include games, puzzles and crosswords to help pass the time, tea and coffee to help patients relax and toiletries.

The Sixfields Upton parkrun is held every Saturday at 9am.
