A gang of men broke into a Northampton house and threatened the occupants during another robbery of a town property in the middle of the night.

The house in Arnold Road, Semilong was broken into sometime between 3.15am and 3.45am on Thursday, February 20.

Once inside, the gang of three or four men, including one who was armed with a ‘metal implement’, threatened the people in the house.

All of the men were between 25 and 30-years-old and had local accents. The first was about 5ft 7in and chubby. He was clean shaven and wore a navy blue tracksuit.

The second was about 5ft 10in, skinny with a long face, two large front teeth and stubble.

The Semilong robbery took place two days before an elderly man was punched in the face after a robber broke into his house in Adnitt Road in the early hours of the morning.
