GALLERY: Thousands of runners turn Northampton park pink for charity
Women from all walks of life donned bright pink clothing to take part in Northampton's Race for Life around Abington Park today.
Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life, which has been in partnership with Tesco for the past 15 years, was hoping to have at least 6,300 women and girls taking part in today’s 5k and 10k routes, in a bid to raise £360,000 for vital research.
Money raised through Race for Life allows Cancer Research UK’s doctors, nurses and scientists to advance research which is helping to save the lives of men, women and children across Northants.
