A countywide funding foundation is calling on amateur snappers to capture the places and faces of Northamptonshire for a chance of winning a prize.
Already several entries have been handed into Northamptonshire Community Foundation’s Capture the Moment competition - such as those shown here.
The organisation launched the contest last month to celebrate its 15th anniversary.
Entrants still have three weeks to enter and to stand a chance of winning a year’s subscription to the DSLR Photography Magazine.
The top snappers will also be presented with a trophy at the foundation’s yearly awards bash in September.
Communications and grants officer at NCF, Lucy Davies, said: “We want people to send us photos of the Northamptonshire community.
“Maybe if they are at Northampton Music Festival later this month or if they are out with friends.
“If they are at a picnic, or visiting Althorp House, we want people to capture the moment and capture the community of Northamptonshire.”
Photos can be taken on anything fro ma smartphone to a disposable camera.
If you want to take part email your entries to firstname.lastname@example.org or upload a photo onto the foundation’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/NorthantsCF/?fref=nf
