The two dancers, who have been performing professionally together since 2004, will perform a variety of routines, be supported by professional singer Paul Amer and guests, and share stories of their time on ‘Strictly’ when they take to The Deco Stage on Friday, October 21.

Camilla - who is Danish by birth, and a junior national champion at 12 years old - was the ‘Strictly’ champion with actor Tom Chambers in 2008, after which she decided to bow out of the programme on a high. She appeared in five series, and other partners on the show included former athlete Roger Black, and ‘Blue Peter’ presenter Gethin Jones, with whom she reached the semi-finals.

Ian, who originates from Reading, was runner-up in the first series of ‘Strictly’, in 2004, with Sydney Olympics gold medal winning athlete Denise Lewis, and was runner up with radio presenter Zoe Ball the following year. He appeared in seven series of the show, other partners included Rod Stewart’s wife, Penny Lancaster, and nowadays appears on the spin-off ‘Strictly Come Dancing – It Takes Two’.

“We’re delighted that two of the biggest names from Strictly Come Dancing, and two of the world’s best dancers, are coming to The Deco, and it will be a fantastic night,” said Jill Roach, of Stage Right Productions, who run the theatre.

“They put on a terrific show, have been performing to sell out audiences, and are also two thoroughly nice individuals.”
