Former parcel depot reopens as massive adventure trampoline centre in Northampton

Boost Northampton welcomed customers for the first time yesterday, offering a range of aerial family fun.

The new leisure facility has created 80 new jobs by taking over the former City Link depot at Riverside Retail Park.

General manager Matt Borer said the first day of trade was a success.

He said: “It was absolutely fantastic fun and we had a lot of positive feedback.

“People really liked the openness of the venue and the different variety of activities.”

Boost features 50 inter-linked trampolines, slam dunk nets, an under-fives area, two ‘extreme dodgeball’ courts, foam landing pits and an eight-man ‘wipepout zone’.

Mr Borer says the venue, one of a number of trampoline parks to spring up across the country in the past year, will soon feature dodgeball leagues for adults, trampolining classes, aerobic sessions and children’s parties, with six private rooms available for hire.

“We’re even looking to target the corporate market for team-building events,” former gym manager Mr Borer, said. “It’s not just for kids, adults can come down and enjoy the facilities too.

“It’s fantastic for cardiovascular health and it works the lower body and core as well.”

It costs £10 to get into the arena, with customers allowed an hour to try out the different activities.

Boost is now open Monday through until Sunday from 9am until 10pm with the last customers allowed in at 9pm.
