Five teenagers accused of spitting on and kicking 14-year-old girl during attack in Northampton

Five teenagers have appeared at Northampton Crown Court charged with being part of an attack on a teenage girl near a Northampton pub that was filmed on a mobile phone.

Sharee Bobowicz, aged 18, of South Holme Court, Thorplands, Kylie Kincaide, aged 19, of Booth Park, Northampton, a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named, all pleaded guilty to affray when they appeared in court on Tuesday.

A 14-year-old girl has also pleaded not guilty to the charge.

It is alleged that the victim of the attack, a 14-year-old girl, was spat on and kicked by the defendants during the attack outside The Tanners pub in Thorplands on Aril 26 last year.

Jenna Allen, prosecuting, said the defendant’s basis of plea were not accepted by the Crown Prosecution Service.

A trial date in August has been set for the 14-year-old defendant. A Newton Hearing will be held after the trial. All the defendants were released on bail.
