Firearms officer Kelvin Todd will be returning to Franklin’s Gardens to play in a match marking Paul Diggin’s testimonial year on Sunday August 31.

PC Todd played for Northampton Saints before joining Northamptonshire Police and will be taking to the field to be part of the ‘All Star Reunion’.

Other former players singed-up for the match include Tom Smith, Budge Pountney, Bruce Reihana, Grant Seely, Matt Allen, Jon Phillips, Darren Fox, Robbie Morris, Johnny Howard and Mark Hopley.

Kick-off will be at 3pm, with the suggested entry being £10 for adults and £1 for juniors, payable on the gate. Car parks A, B and C will be open for public car parking from midday.

Digger’s Decade is supporting local charity Niamh’s Next Step, which raises money for research and awareness about Neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer which mainly affects children.
