Fire crews tackle blaze at Northampton convenience store
Firefighters were called to a blaze at a corner shop in Northampton on Sunday night.
A fire took hold at Nene Valley Stores at the corner of Uppingham Street and St Andrew’s Road at about 10.30pm yesterday. Fire crews found the store “well alight” when they arrived and quickly brought the fire under control. It is understood that the fire was not suspicious.
