Fifty-seven-year-old left with facial injuries after attack in Northampton street

A pubgoer was attacked as he walked home from a Northampton pub.

The man, aged 57, was walking along Artizan Road on Saturday December 27 sometime between 11.30pm and midnight. Police released details of the incident today.

A police spokesman said: “He was approached by two or three men who assaulted him. The victim sustained facial injuries as a result of the incident.

“The offenders were all tall, white men aged in their late 20s,” he added.
