Festival of Tennis in Northampton to mark arrival of Davis Cup

A Festival of Tennis will be held in Northampton tomorrow to mark the arrival of the Davis Cup.

The largest trophy in the sporting world is coming to Kings Park Tennis Centre in Northampton from 9am.

Northamptonshire Sport has organised a day of tennis activities for members of the public to take part in during the day. People will also be able to have their picture taken with the Davis Cup trophy.

The David Cup has been touring the UK this year after the British team, including Wimbledon champion Andy Murray, won it last year.

The British team are through to the semi-finals of this year’s competition and are due to play Argentina later this month.
