Norah Garret, of the Headlands, went missing at about 5am on Saturday morning (November, 24) from her accommodation, The Gran Hotel Bali, where she was staying for a week with her husband Tony to celebrate her birthday.

Norah, nee Bryne, who was diagnosed with young onset dementia earlier this year, may appear to strangers to be confused and upset, her niece Marica Barnard told the Chronicle & Echo.

Marcia said the family are beside themselves with worry: "She's the eldest sister of a family of 11. She's the first girl born it means everything to find her.

"She has three children and they are all frantic."

Norah was last seen leaving the hotel where she was wearing blue denim jeans and a striped black, beige and blue long-sleeved rugby-style top.

The local police have been informed and Norah's identity has been logged on the national database.
